Ⅱ-59PrecautionforUseLubricationDustProtectionGreaseisnotpre-packedintheCRWUGseriesandCRWUseries,sopleaseperformadequatelubricationasneeded.BothofoillubricationandgreaselubricationareavailableintheCRWUGseriesandCRWUseries.Generally,oillubricationshouldbeselectedforhighspeedorlowfrictionalresistance,andgreaselubricationforlowspeed.Forgreaselubrication,useofhigh-qualitylithium-soapbasegreaseisrecommended.SincetheCRWUGseriesandCRWUseriesarefinishedwithhighaccuracy,harmfulforeignsubstancessuchasdustandparticlesenteringintothebearingwillcauselowlifeorimpairedaccuracy.Forapplicationsinotherthancleanenvironment,covertheentireunitwithaprotectivecase,etc.topreventharmfulforeignsubstancessuchasdust,particlesandwaterfromoutsidefromentering.❶HandlingAstheCRWUGseriesandCRWUseriesaredesignedhighlyprecisely,takeextracareforhandling.CageoftheCRWUGserieshasapiniongearincorporated.Whenthecageisdroppedorhandledroughly,thepiniongearmaycomeoff.Inaddition,donotcutoffthecageasdoingsomaycausepiniongearcomingoffandbreakageofgearjointsection.WayoftheCRWUGserieshasarackincorporated.Inoperation,takenotethattherackmaycomeoffwhentheendscrewisremoved.FortheCRWUseries,thecagemaybedeviatedfromtherightpositionduetooffsetloadorirregularandhigh-velocitymotion,etc.Fullystrokeitonceincertainoperatingtimeorcertainnumberofreciprocatingmotiontocorrectthecageposition.❷Preloadre-adjustmentPreloadamountoftheCRWUGseriesandCRWUseriesisadjustedtozeroorslightpreloadstate,sotheymaybeusedastheyare.PreloadamountoftheCRWUGseries,CRWU,andCRWU…Rmaybere-adjustedbyfollowingtheprocedurebelow.Preloadadjustmentisstartedfromthepreloadadjustingscrewatthecenterofwaylengthandthenbothendsinturn,withfixingscrewsofthepreloadadjustingsidewaytemporarilyfixed.Whilemeasuringtheclearanceonthetablesides,tightenthepreloadadjustingscrewssubsequentlyuntildeflectionofthedialgaugestops.Measurethetighteningtorqueforpreloadadjustingscrewsatthispoint.Whenadjustingpreloadadjustingscrewneareitherend,strokethetablesoftlyandcheckthatthecylindricalrollerisonthepreloadadjustingscrewsection.Aftertheaboveprocedure,theclearancebecomeszeroorinslightpreloadstate,butpreloadisstillnotadjustedevenly.Withthesameprocedureagain,re-adjustallthepreloadadjustingscrewsevenlytothetorquepreviouslymeasured.Fig.3Exampleofpreloadadjustmentmethod❸OperatingtemperatureAssyntheticresincomponentsareusedfortheCRWUGseries,themaximumoperatingtemperatureis120°C,whileitshouldbelowerthan100°Cforcontinuoususe.Whenitexceeds100°C,contactIKO.AssyntheticresincomponentsarenotusedfortheCRWUseries,itmaybeusedathightemperature.However,whenitexceeds100°C,contactIKO.❹MaximumvelocityOperatingvelocityshouldnotexceed30m/minduringoperation.
